Measuring device with radial pressure sensor

The ESS3 R1 series devices measure pressure, differential pressure, and temperature in gas, water, and district heating networks and are equally suitable for liquid and gaseous media in industrial applications.

The battery-operated, modular devices consist of a control unit (housing, processor, software, display), sensor, and battery.

They are approved for hazardous areas (Zones 1 and 2) and are waterproof up to protection class IP68.

Monitoring in gas pressure regulating and measuring systems

Pipeline network calculation

Sensor

The sensor is the metrological link to the application. Performance and user-friendliness are therefore the main focus:

Sensor replacement by the user is possible and immediately ready for operation without recalibration

Stainless steel encapsulated, piezoresistive sensor with high long-term stability, resistant to aggressive media

High resolution of measured values; multiple measuring ranges possible for a single sensor

Measurement of media temperature

High measuring rates due to high natural resonance frequency

High overpressure safety and high burst pressure

Special versions, e.g., for O2 measurement

Sensibly graduated fixed as well as user-definable measuring ranges and various accuracy classes up to +- 0.05% of FSD (full scale deflection)

Temperature sensors suitable as rod probes or for use in thermowells
